Jonathan R Hall
Jonathan's multi-award-winning feature film SOLO!, is now available on iTunes and Amazon - a low-budget, but wildly ambitious, joyful, musical romantic comedy, filmed in Valencia. His black comedy feature The Paul Bearers, set over a single night in London, has reached the top 2% out of 12,000 scripts at The Austin Film Festival 2019. Jonathan co-wrote the feature film Fireworks, the first non-US winner of the American Screenwriters' Association Script Competition Grand Prize, and has written/produced 2 award-winning short films, In the Mood, a comedy starring Kelly Brook, and Mr Thornton's Change of Heart starring Nicholas Grace and Annette Badland. Another short, Me or the Dog was funded by the Wellcome Trust, starring Edward Hogg and Martin Clunes. His feature, Buttered Side Up, was shortlisted for the Orange Pathe Prize and the Intermedia/Mirage Comedy Prize. Jonathan is now working on other diverse projects including Ozzie, a conservation-minded family film set in Namibia,

In other genres Jonathan is a regular writer on Doctors (BBC), and was nominated for best episode at the Soap Awards. His World Cup monologue was performed by Johnny Vegas on Radio 5 Live.
